War Comes to Vegas

Las Vegas wasn't built for war. That won't stop it.
The war has reached Nevada. Fight through the neon-lit chaos of the Vegas Strip, uncover what's hidden inside Area 51, and experience some of Battlefield 6's most ambitious locations yet.
The action begins at launch with Vegas Strip and Area 51, with another new map arriving later in the season.
Vegas Strip

Whatever happens in Vegas is about to become everyone's problem.
Fight across casinos, luxury hotel interiors, crowded streets, and underground storm drains as helicopters weave through skyscrapers overhead and armored vehicles tear through the city below.
No matter where you deploy, every corner of the Vegas Strip offers a different way to win big.
Area 51

There were warning signs…
Area 51 drops you into one of the world's most infamous military installations, where tanks, helicopters, and jets dominate the desert above while fierce infantry fights unfold below. At the heart of the map lies a massive crater leading into a classified underground facility packed with tight corridors and close-quarters combat.
The truth is out there. Getting to it is the hard part.
Rapid Royale

Battle Royale comes to Las Vegas with Rapid Royale, a new REDSEC experience built for players who want to get into the action fast. Drop into streamlined Trios or Solos matches featuring smaller player counts, high-value loot, and a relentless Ring of Fire that keeps squads on the move.
Rack up eliminations. Earn redeploys. Stay alive.
Every fight is a chance to bring your squad back into the game, rewarding aggressive play and creating nonstop action from the first drop to the final showdown.
More Ways to Compete
The competition is heating up. Season 5 expands Battlefield's competitive offerings with a new Ranked BR season and the arrival of REDSEC's Open Series. For squads looking to test themselves against the best, the Elite Series arrives later this season with massive cash prizes up for grabs.
For Multiplayer players, Leaderboards bring a new way to measure progress and track performance over time.
Think your squad has what it takes? Prove it.
Expand Your Arsenal

A new season calls for new hardware.
Available at launch, Season 5 introduces four new weapons to help you tackle everything from close-quarters firefights to long-range engagements:
- Mk 24 Assault Rifle
- A lower-capacity Assault Rifle that trades magazine capacity for consistent performance and exceptional damage at range. With a steady rate of fire, the Mk 24 is built for players who value precision and effectiveness.
- RSPR Submachine Gun
- An SMG with the characteristics of a rifle, combining a steady rate of fire with high damage. Its smaller magazine and heavier recoil require more control, placing it between the SG 553R and SCW-10 in terms of performance.
- Z84M Light Machine Gun
- Built for close-range aggression, the Z84M combines a 100-round box magazine with high damage and a high rate of fire, making it effective against groups of enemies. That firepower comes with significant recoil and handling trade-offs, so keeping it under control is key.
- ELR-40 Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
- Built for extreme long-range engagements, the ELR-40 features the best bullet drag performance and the furthest sweet spot in its weapon archetype, making it particularly well suited for the open sightlines of our new map, Area 51. A custom single-shot ammunition option completely changes its role, shifting that sweet spot into close range with functionality that longtime Battlefield players may find familiar.
Whether you're holding down sightlines in Area 51 or pushing through the chaos of the Vegas Strip, chances are your favorite loadout is about to change.
Dead Space Returns to Battlefield

They should have left it alone.
This Halloween, a dark discovery beneath Area 51 sets off the Convergence Event, a limited-time crossover bringing Dead Space back to Battlefield.
As soldiers uncover a mysterious Marker hidden deep within the facility, its influence begins to spread, threatening a catastrophic Convergence. More details will be revealed as the event draws closer, but one thing is certain: some discoveries are best left buried.
Coming Later in Season 5

Launch was just the opening act…
Casino Heist Update | November 10
The battle moves deeper into Las Vegas in the limited-time event, Casino Heist.
Later in the season, the fight moves inside the European Casino, a new infantry-focused battleground where close-quarters combat takes center stage. Battle through lavish gaming floors, navigate the casino's interconnected spaces, and use destruction to create new paths through the chaos.
More details will be shared closer to launch.
Frozen Aces Update | December 8
As the year draws to a close, the battlefield keeps evolving.
Frozen Aces introduces Operation High Roller along with several highly requested features, including Platoons and Server Browser. Players can also return to Blackwell Fields and New Sobek City, both of which have been updated based on community feedback. New weapons, gear, and the B-81 Cavalry further expand the sandbox.
More details will be shared closer to launch.
One Last Run in Gauntlet
With the launch of Season 5, Gauntlet will leave Battlefield 6.
If you've been meaning to jump in, now's the time. Rally your wingman and experience the mode before it takes its final flight and departs on October 13.
