NHL 21 HUT Fantasy Hockey

Hello HUT Community,

Today we’re excited to reveal two launches today – Fantasy Hockey Masters and Past Meets Present.

Fantasy Hockey Masters

Today we’ll be releasing 4 Master Item upgrade paths:

• Sean Couturier 84 OVR Master Item  Sean Couturier 91 OVR Master Item
• Mark Stone 84 OVR Master Item  Mark Stone 91 OVR Master Item
• Cale Makar 83 OVR Master Item  Cale Makar 90 OVR Master Item
• Brock Boeser 82 OVR Master Item  Brock Boeser 89 OVR Master Item

Each of these paths are designed individually for the player and will have set requirements such as Gold Collectibles, Gold Players, Jerseys, and jersey numbers etc. 

We want to note though that the sets will not expire at the end of the week and are planned to be up indefinitely. The second thing to note is that we are planning to continue releasing sets for these players in future months that would eventually allow all of them to upgrade to 99 OVR.

The highest versions of these Master Items will be available this week in packs (until December 11th, at 2pm PT).

Past Meets Present

We’ll also be taking this opportunity to celebrate hockey history and video game hockey history through our Past Meets Present Event items and sets. We’ll be releasing a number of favourite NHL Icons including Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Denis Savard.

You will be able to upgrade your Bronze Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky Master Icons into a choice between the Wayne Gretzky or Mario Lemieux Past Meets Present items.

In the future both Past Meets Present and Bronze Master Icon versions of Lemieux and Gretzky will be upgradeable to their Silver Master Icons.

Reverse Retro Jerseys

Lastly we want to mention that all 31 Adidas Reverse Retro jerseys are going to be available in HUT, and for those logging in this weekend we will have a choice pack that will allow you to choose one from any of the jerseys.
