Madden NFL 26 Free Play Weekend Twitch Drops - September 5th, 2025

Hey Madden fans, welcome back to Gridiron Notes! Today, we’re sharing what’s going on during the Free Play Weekend for Madden NFL 26 on Xbox, PlayStation®, and PC!

During the Madden NFL 26 Free Play weekend* on September 6th and 7th, you’ll be able to tune into some of the community's favorite creators on Twitch for live Q&A sessions and a unique Twitch Drops reward all focused on getting you ready for the upcoming Ultimate Team year.

Throughout the weekend, various Madden creators will be streaming all kinds of modes in Madden NFL 26: Answering gameplay strategy questions, trying to build a real contender in Franchise mode, starting their career in Superstar mode or building their Ultimate Team. They’ll be playing live, interacting with their communities, taking questions from the chat, breaking down strategies in real time, and of course, talking about Week 1 of the NFL season!

Earn Twitch Drops: A Full Ultimate Team Lineup

What are Twitch Drops? By watching participating live streams on Twitch, you’ll be able to earn in-game items for Madden NFL 26!

This weekend, by watching participating streams on September 6th and September 7th, you can earn a full Ultimate Team lineup and multiple Ultimate Team packs. With a full lineup, you’ll be able to compete just in time for NFL kickoff!

Twitch Drop Timing

• September 5th:
  • Watch 15 minutes: Twitch Drop Pack
  • Watch 1 hour: Twitch Drop Pack
  • Watch 1.5 hours: Twitch Drop Pack
  • Watch 2 hours: Twitch Drop Pack
• September 6th: 
  • Watch 15 minutes: Twitch Drop Pack
  • Watch 1 hour: Starter Fantasy Pack (Pick Offense or Defense)
  • Watch 1.5 hours: Twitch Drop Pack
  • Watch 2 hours: Twitch Drop Pack
• September 7th:
  • Watch 15 minutes: Twitch Drop Pack
  • Watch 1 hour: Starter Fantasy Pack (Pick Offense or Defense)
  • Watch 1.5 hours: Twitch Drop Pack
  • Watch 2 hours: Twitch Drop Pack

Note: The Stater Fantasy Pack is a pick one of a full offense (11 player items) or defensive lineup (11 player items) that ranges from 78-80 OVR BND.

How to Claim Your Drops

If you’re new to Madden or Twitch, here’s how it works:

1. Link your EA and Twitch accounts.

2. Watch  designated Madden streams during the Twitch Drop windows.

3. Claim your Drop on Twitch.

4. Log into Madden Ultimate Team and find your rewards waiting in your Unopened Packs section.

Pro Tip: Make sure your EA account is up to date with the correct Gamertag, PSN ID, etc, linked before connecting it to your Twitch account!
