Introduced last year as an Offseason alternative to Team Of The Week, this weekly mode returns and brings with it sweet weekly releases of new player cards, and an even more stunning Reward Board, where you’ll really uncover some treasure…

So grab a pickaxe and a hard hat, because we’re about to go mining for some gems!

Sparkle And Glitter With Team Diamonds

From a gameplay perspective, Team Diamonds centers on a rhythmic, biweekly cycle of specialized challenges and tactical resource management. 

You will want to stay active in the Reward Board and Token Blitz events to accumulate your Team Diamonds Tokens and Tickets, which serve as the primary currency for crafting elite-tier players via the trade sets. 

Whether you are a casual player or a dedicated strategist, Team Diamonds provides a reliable, consistent path to building powerful pro-level players that will remain a cornerstone of your starting lineup for months to come.

Each week we’ll drop a new round of players, as well as a featured Mythic card for you to work towards, providing a +1 OVR boost to all other Mythic cards for 15 days after release. 

You’ll complete Team Diamonds challenges to earn Tokens and Tickets that you can use to grab new players and rewards from the Reward Board, similar to how things worked before in Team Of The Week!

While you do have a whole two-week window, the most efficient progress is often made during the initial release week.

If you find yourself holding two Iconic players from the previous week but decide you’d rather pursue a newly released player from the current week, you can exchange those two older items for one random Iconic from the active roster. 

This is particularly valuable for players who may have fallen just short of completing a specific Mythic upgrade before the deadline. Rather than letting those Week 1 Iconics sit on the bench, the exchange allows you to convert that progress directly into the latest content. 

It ensures that your grind remains relevant and that you always have a pathway toward the most desirable players, even as the Team Diamonds roster continues to evolve throughout the Offseason.
