Downtown Developer Event

A glamorous Apartment Block lot and a high rise 3-story penthouse apartment await as part of the new Downtown Developer event!

If you haven't already, reach level 13 and complete the 'Simtown Express' Discovery Quest in the bottom left corner of the map. This will unlock the Downtown district and access for you to start creating your next dream build!

New Facial Customisation Categories

For the first time The Sims FreePlay is introducing long beards and new glasses styles for adult male Sims! Thanks to 'Jean's splicing' technology, players can now select a face type and facial hair from SEPARATE categories in any wardrobe! Go to a wardrobe now to mix and match your new favourite look for your adult male Sims that includes hair, beards, glasses and tattoos!

Time Capsule Player Favourite

Unlock some seriously stylish adult hairstyles for your Sims. Players who have not previously finished the event in earlier updates, will be starting the quest from the beginning. Players who have claimed previous hair milestone rewards will receive a currency prize instead!

Ghost Flustered Halloween Seasonal Quest Rerun

Celebrate Halloween in the Sims FreePlay by trick or treating in SimTown! With the Four Ghosts of the Halloween Apocalypse threatening to shut Halloween down, it's up to your Sim to impersonate ghosts with body paint. Reveal them through trick or treating to ensure Halloween can occur ghost-free for another year!

Here are the playable event dates for this update (all dates in AEST):

• NEW Cafè Grandè Live Event: 15-day event starting Tuesday 22nd October
• NEW Downtown Developer Feature Launch: always accessible - from 22nd October
• Ghost Flustered Seasonal Quest Re-run: 9-day event running from Wednesday 23rd October
• Long Hair Hobby Rerun: 10-day event running from Friday 1st - 10th November
• NEW SimChase Season 8 - Cafe Conundrums!: 11-day event starting Thursday 7th November
• Time Capsule Seasonal Quest Re-run: 21-day event running from Monday 4th November
• NEW Maternity Pack 8 - Start and complete a Pregnancy Event between Friday 15th - 30th November
• Urban Furniture Hobby Event Rerun: 8-day event running from Sunday 24th November
• Grand Garages Live Event Rerun: 13-day event running from Wednesday 20th November until the final day of the update Monday 2nd December.
