The EA SPORTS Madden Championship Series (MCS) reached its thrilling conclusion on Friday at Electronic Arts headquarters in San Francisco, where 14 of the world’s best players battled for their share of a $1 million USD prize pool and a place in Madden esports history.
When the final moments arrived, Drini delivered under pressure.
With the clock winding down, Drini sealed a 30–27 victory over Astro with a dramatic, game-winning field goal, earning the MCS 26 Madden Bowl title and taking home $250,000, the largest share of the prize pool.
Three days of high-stakes competition
Played in front of an electric crowd at Electronic Arts Redwood Shoes (EARS), the three-day event featured nonstop action and some of the highest-level Madden gameplay ever seen on the Championship Series stage.
Several of the competition’s most established stars, including JonBeast and Henry, were eliminated earlier than expected, underscoring just how deep and competitive the field has become. Every matchup brought new twists, clutch moments, and statement performances, as players pushed the game to its limits.
