When you open Dragon Age™: The Veilguard (sold separately) on the same platform, you’ll be able to carry over your character and begin your adventure with the Rook you created.

Character customization goes beyond appearances. You’ll also select from different races and combat classes and choose your character’s backstory. Character data can be transferred directly into Dragon Age: The Veilguard on the same platform, which is purchased separately. This Character Creator is also its own standalone experience. You can create multiple Rooks even if you haven't yet purchased Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
