Flying Submissions are one of the most dramatic techniques in UFC 6&#39;s clinch game, converting close-range contact directly into a submission entry before the opponent can react. Not every fighter has access to these techniques, so it&#39;s worth checking the pause menu to see which ones your fighter can use.

- Flying Submissions convert clinch contact into an immediate submission entry. They&#39;re one of the fastest ways to go from standing to a finish attempt
- Not every fighter has access to Flying Submissions. Check Game Help in the Pause Menu to see which techniques your fighter can use
- L2+R1+Square attempts a Flying Armbar from the Collar Tie on PlayStation. Different inputs open different submission entries depending on the fighter
- The input must be executed from a clinch position. You need to be in contact with your opponent for the technique to trigger
- Because they&#39;re activated from the clinch, Flying Submissions catch opponents off guard at exactly the moment they expect a striking exchange rather than a submission attempt

- Flying Submission: L2 + R1 + Square or Triangle (exact technique depends on the fighter. Check Game Help in the Pause Menu)

- Flying Submission: LT + RB + X or Y (exact technique depends on the fighter. Check Game Help in the Pause Menu)

## Key Tips

Flying Submissions are a specialist tool rather than a universal option. Before a match, confirm which Flying Submissions your fighter has available via the pause menu, then look for clinch opportunities to set them up. They&#39;re most effective when the opponent is focused on escaping the clinch rather than defending submissions, the element of surprise is one of their biggest advantages.
