I was kind of pissed when i heard about this new Decimation map pack, mostly because it was released shortly after the release of Retaliation which i purchased and Decimation has more maps and new weapons. I felt deceived, tricked, duped by the makers of Crysis and EA. Decimation should be FREE for people who purchased Retaliation especially since people rarely play Retaliaion Team IA and NOONE plays Instant Action its a joke! Also, since Decimation offers more maps and new weapons now noone will purchase or play Retaliation. This was a waste of my money I should have bought Section 8 Prejudice instead of the map pack!

The game is too unbalanced and there are too many cheaters. You shoot someone in the head at least 15-20 times and nothing happens. No way. When that's fixed, I'll buy all the expansion packs that you have to offer for Singleplayer and Multiplayer.

I bought Crysis 2 on release and stopped playing it in the hope that a DX11 and/or hi-res texture pack would be made available at some point. Some of you may think I was being foolish for not wanting to continue playing a game just because of the graphical disappointment it made me feel; but what is Crysis? From day one it's been a technical showpiece, thankfully accompanied by some really good gameplay and memorable moments. Crysis and Warhead still look amazing and I've played them both, on elite, twice through. Some say they look better than Crysis 2 and, if I'm being honest, they do, maybe not in every respect but considering their age the visuals are still outstanding. So expecting another graphical marvel wasn't too much to expect from Crysis 2, was it? Average (at best) textures, no DX11 features or proper PC settings were enough to make me quit playing within a matter of an hour or two. But hey, look what's around the corner! A DX11 update, complete with texture pack. Hopefully this'll be worth the extra three month wait. Thanks for considering the, albeit smaller, high-end market, Crytek. Taking into consideration the reputation Crytek had - regarding graphical prowess - I'm still very surprised you didn't include DX11 (and higher quality textures) in the PC version for launch. Or was that due to EA pushing for release? Whatever, I'm just happy my decision to wait has worked out.

Thank you for releasing it. Crysis 2 is now running at its best. best of luck for Crysis 3, and just a note, more to EA, dont push the PC verson before its ready to be released.

DO NOT BUY CRYSIS 2. It is a horribly designed product and the is no user game save feature. The only way to save is to move beyond certain checkpoints and when you are killed you must return to your last checkpoint and repeat the same things over and over and over and over and over and over...ad nauseum. Absolutely pathetic.

Hey is it just me, or did patch 1.9 cause the game to run slower. (WinXP Dx 9.0c). Definitely struggling where it shouldn't be. It also seems more grainy and some of the graphics are definitely "off" . Even worse because the game downloaded and applied the patch without asking me (bad move, EA) - is there some way to prevent this and remove the patch ?

Semper fi at the end of mission only air shooting guns and noise like someones is there no aircraft or aliens appear and this is suppose to be the big shoot-out FIX IT NOW...

1.9 Update causes the game to crash when loading save games (continuing a single-player campaign). I've seen this issue being reported widespread. Is anything planned on remedying this issue?
