The Season 3 Battle Pass for Battlefield 6 and REDSEC features the legendary Dagger 1-3 squad; coming off a successful Campaign, this elite Marine Raider Regiment squad is back as the tip of the spear in NATO’s war against Pax Armata. From the Railway to Golmud to the shores of Fort Lyndon, Simone "Gecko" Espina, Lucas Hemlock, Dylan Murphy, and Cliff Lopez are ready to leave it all on the Battlefield.
You can play as Dagger 1-3 beyond the Battlefield 6 Campaign in Multiplayer, REDSEC Battle Royale and Gauntlet, and Portal across both games through owning the Season 3 Battle Pass and progressing through its tiers. In addition to having the opportunity to play as these soldiers, becoming a Battle Pass owner in Season 3 grants access to all 100+ Tiers of content, including Weapon Packages, Soldier Skins, and Customization Items for your player profile.
Here’s a look at the Season 3 Battle Pass offering, from where you can find three iconic Battlefield weapons - the L115 Sniper Rifle, M16A4 Assault Rifle, and RPK-74M LMG - as free unlockable content, to the perks of getting Battle Pass or getting over five times the value of a regular Battle Pass with Battlefield Pro.
HOW TO PROGRESS THROUGH THE BATTLE PASS

The Battlefield 6 and REDSEC Battle Pass boasts over 100 Tiers of content. One Tier requires 10 Battle Pass Points to unlock. You can advance through these Tiers in one of three ways:
- COMPLETE WEEKLY CHALLENGES: Completing Weekly Challenges awards Battle Pass Points; the exact amount depends on the difficulty of the challenge. Complete a set number of Weekly Challenges to unlock a Bonus Challenge worth more Battle Pass Points.
- EARN CAREER XP: Simply play the game to unlock Battle pass Points over time.
- TIER SKIPS. For a set amount of BFC (Battlefield Coins), you can purchase Tiers directly.
The Battle Pass is sectioned into "Paths," starting with the five-Tier Recruit Path. After leveling through this introductory Recruit Path, you have the choice of completing the next four Paths in any order.
You can choose this Path by going to the Battle Pass section of the main menu, then selecting the Path you wish to advance by following the on-screen instructions to "activate" the Path. You can change your current Battle Pass path at any time.
If you do not actively choose a path, you will automatically unlock rewards in order of each path.
Complete all paths during a Season to unlock two ultimate mastery paths, which have their own Tiers of the most high-end content such as Legendary Weapon Packages.
There are three different ways to get Battle Pass content: first, a selection of items, including the three functional weapons and other rewards, are available for free without necessary purchase*. Simply unlock enough Battle Pass Points to unlock these free rewards.
The full Battle Pass is available for 1,100 BFC and includes access to all 100+ Tiers of content, in addition to a 10% XP Boost (Career, Hardware, and Battle Pass XP) for the season and free instant rewards. For Season 3, these instant rewards include the Dagger 1-3 soldier Hemlock and a Weapon Package for the M240L LMG.
Lastly, you can get the most value with Battlefield Pro (or BF Pro, for short): for USD $24.99 MSRP, you not only gain access to the Battle Pass and all those instant rewards, but a warlord’s chest of additional content:

RECAP - WHO IS DAGGER 1-3?

Dagger 1-3 are an elite NATO U.S. Marine Raider squad fighting on the frontlines against the private military corporation known as Pax Armata. In the Battlefield 6 Campaign, this unit not only finds Pax Armata’s plans to win the War of 2027, but also the intentions behind their own handler, CIA Commanding Officer Melissa Mills…
Their discovery sets the world of Battlefield 6 and REDSEC in motion - more details about the story so far can be found here - leading up to the events of Season 3. After being placed on special assignment following their original campaign against Pax Armata, Dagger 1-3 uses insider knowledge to hunt down Pax's rogue warlords, especially those on the "Railway to Golmud" deep in Tajikistan.
Determined to fulfill its mission to take down the Pax special operatives in Tajikistan and eliminate Pax leadership once and for all, the team of Hemlock, Gecko, Murphy, and Lopez scout the valleys and mountains for Pax’s local base of operations.
As a note, due to their intense specialization and events from the Battlefield 6 Campaign, Dagger 1-3 Soldiers are class-locked. For example, “Hemlock” can only be used in the Assault Class.

Your first steps into the Season 3 Battle Pass are through the Recruit Path (AKA Tactical Point). Here, you’ll unlock the following:

SEASON 3 BATTLE PASS - FOUR PATHS TO VICTORY
The battle between Pax Armata’s fiercest Warlords and NATO’s finest led by Dagger 1-3 is about to unfold, and with it comes four paths to victory in the Battle Pass.
Remember, you can choose any Path to start with. By default, you’ll go in order from Tiger Shark down to the last Tier of Smuggled Goods, all before reaching the Ultimate and Prestige Paths. Each Path tells part of the story of Season 3, as well as features some key featured items:
- TIGER SHARK is where you want to start if you’re gunning for the free M16A4 Assault Rifle. Get the full Battle Pass to also have the fastest route to Dagger 1-3’s Simone “Gecko” Espina.
- WARLORD HUNTERS has some serious big game with the free RPK-74M LMG. Elsewhere in the full 22 Tiers are four Weapon Packages available with Battle Pass purchase.
- WARLORDS COMMAND features six Free Tiers, including a “Shiner” NVO-228E Assault Rifle Weapon Package, as well as Dagger 1-3 member Cliff Lopez.
- SMUGGLED GOODS is a cache fit for the elite with a free “Cutthroat Damascus” Combat Knife variant. Battle Pass owners can also get Dagger 1-3 Engineer Dylan Murphy
