The Sunatsuzumi, or Gritdog, is furnished with naturally magnetic lodestones, through which it controls complex magnetic fields to manipulate ironsand into curious shapes that are found dotted across its territory. These eerie, almost Karakuri-like structures give a chilling insight into the beast's intelligence.

The Gritdog uses the magnetic field produced by the build-up of ferrous material in its tail to manipulate ironsand for some powerful attacks. Be especially careful of the Karakuri-like structures it conjures if angered. When its ironsand reserves are depleted, however, it leaves itself open to attack for a considerable time as it restocks. That's the moment to strike, and strike hard.
