Ripclaw
Ecology
As the mating season approaches, a section of the male-only Dreadclaw population transforms to become female, and migrates to colder climes in order to lay eggs. These oviparous females are known as Onitosaka, or Ripclaws. As well as their normal eggs, they also lay fake eggs filled with a sleep-inducing smoke to catch unsuspecting egg thieves unawares. In falling for this wily trick, the hunter quickly becomes the hunted.
Strategy
Some of the Ripclaw's eggs contain a sleep-inducing smoke that will leave you fatigued with prolonged exposure. Be especially mindful of the fog from giant eggs, as it will linger in the air for a long time. You must plan your attacks carefully to avoid contaminated areas.
