BATTLEFIELD™ 2042 SEASON AND EVENT PASS CONTENT UPDATE

We’re making updates to the availability of items that players could unlock by participating in Battle Passes and time-limited Event Passes, after a pass has expired in Battlefield™ 2042.

Items from previous Battle Passes and Season Passes will start returning in July for a time-limited event, as a way to celebrate the journey of Battlefield™ 2042. Players will be able to unlock and purchase previous seasonal items in the weekly progression track, and gain access to them in free and paid bundles in the store every week. 

We will be changing our approach for these items and will make some of them available for purchase or other means at least three months after their initial Battle or Event Pass has expired.

This will allow players to obtain these items that they might have missed unlocking previously, while retaining an exclusivity period of at least three months for those who participated in the Season Pass during that timeframe. 

Will all types of items be available for purchase later?

No. Item selection depends on several factors, and not all items are guaranteed to return once these changes are introduced. We’re regularly looking at item popularity, equip rates, and feedback on what you’d like to see return. Not all items are guaranteed to be returned at a later stage.

Are all items guaranteed to appear in the store?

No. The selection of store items will depend on various factors, and there is no guarantee that a Battle Pass or Event Pass item will be available for purchase after this change.

What about items obtainable as Mission Rewards?

Items from the Bonus Rewards and Mission Rewards sections may also become available for purchase in the store at least three months after the Battle Pass or Event Pass ended.

What happens to items unlocked from Battle Pass Missions released after launch?

Items unlocked from Battle Pass Missions that become available after the Battle Pass launched may be added to the store at least three months after the Battle Pass concluded.

What about items within the Deluxe offering of the game, or pre-order incentives?

Deluxe, Pre-Order, and Platform Exclusive items will not be available via this change. They will not be present in any shop offerings and will remain exclusive to how they were initially obtained.
