Road to Battlefield V: Get Battlefield 1 Turning Tides Free* By July 3
Stage 2 on the Road to Battlefield™ V starts now. Players can grab a free expansion for both Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4, available until July 3, 2018*. Expect rewards through a weekly progression system, with more in-game content for Battlefield 1, and the opportunity to unlock items for use in Battlefield V** once that game launches on October 19, 2018.
Battlefield 1 Turning Tides
Stage 2 kicks off with the Battlefield 1 Turning Tides expansion, where players can fight in the 1915 British amphibious assault of the Gallipoli peninsula and deploy with the Royal Marines on the C-Class Airship to drop death from above.
Relive massive battles on land, sea, and air within the maze of desert canyons of Achi Baba, choke point-heavy Zeebrugge, and two additional maps.
The expansion also delivered six weapons and two melee weapons to dominate the land battles as well as the L-Class destroyer, M.A.S torpedo boats, and Heli blimps to dominate the seas. Head over to the Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar page for a full breakdown.
Don’t forget that the offer ends on July 3, 2018 and requires the Battlefield 1 base game.
Battlefield 4 Second Assault
We’re also giving away Battlefield 4 Second Assault expansion for free* to owners of Battlefield 4, until July 3, 2018. Battlefield 4 Second Assault is a love letter to the classic maps of Battlefield 3, redesigned with the power of the Frostbite 3 game engine. The expansion also gives players five new weapons, a Dune Buggy, ten assignments, and the Capture the Flag game mode.
Road to Battlefield V: Weekly Rewards
Just by playing Battlefield 1, you can earn rewards such as legendary weapon skins, special dog tags, and Squad XP Boosts. Also, keep your head on a swivel for a chance to earn weapon skins for use in Battlefield V once it launches in October.
You’ll find a new menu when logging into Battlefield 1, with a list of daily tasks that will go toward earning the various rewards for that week. The available rewards unlock weekly and can be earned during that particular time period. Check the Battlefield Calendar for more info.
Road to Battlefield V: Weekly Map Playlists
Battlefield 1 players may have noticed a recent change to the way they can jump into maps in multiplayer. Every Tuesday a different collection of maps will be featured inside Battlefield 1, grouped together based on a common theme.
