Cody and May come to Nintendo Switch™ 2 on October 15! Grab your friend—the same gleefully disruptive It Takes Two gameplay that won Game of the Year at the The Game Awards 2021 is back with higher resolution, improved frame rates, and richer visual effects. Turn Me Up Studios has teamed up with Hazelight to bring this co-op classic to the next generation of Nintendo consoles.

It Takes Two is a co-op action-adventure platformer that marries gameplay and narrative in innovative and unexpected ways. The game starts with divorcing couple Cody and May being magically turned into dolls by their daughter, Rose. And just like that, they’re thrown headfirst into a fantastical world created as a result of their broken relationship.

Now, Cody and May must work together to fix their relationship and get their bodies back. You and a partner will venture through a variety of gameplay challenges, gleefully masterminded by Dr. Hakim—a charismatic self-help book about love.

Higher Resolution and Performance

It Takes Two on Nintendo Switch™ 2 runs at 1080p and 60 FPS in Docked Mode, even on a 4K monitor or TV.

Updated Visuals

The game now features high-resolution textures, a significantly improved lighting system, and enhanced visual effects, creating a more detailed, immersive, and polished gameplay experience.

Speedier Loading Times

Quicker loading times and transitions make it easier to start the game and load into levels.

Find Your Player Two Using Crossplay

Is your Cody or May on a different platform or don’t own It Takes Two? That’s not a worry–using Friend’s Pass†, they can join the adventure. You can also play together via the newly added crossplay feature across PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
