Not all fighters are built the same in UFC 6, and weight class is the biggest reason why. Whether you want lightning-fast volume strikes or single-punch knockout power depends on which division you&#39;re competing in, and matching your playstyle to the right weight class makes a real difference.

- Lighter classes (Flyweight, Bantamweight, Featherweight) feature faster movement speed, quicker strike rates, and better stamina efficiency.
- Heavier classes (Light Heavyweight, Heavyweight) hit dramatically harder but drain stamina faster and move more slowly.
- Stamina management becomes more critical at higher weights. Chaining long combos is expensive and a few missed big shots can gas you out quickly.
- Matchmaking respects weight class boundaries, so you&#39;ll generally face opponents with similar physical profiles in your division.

## How to Choose a Weight Class

- Weight class is selected at the fighter selection screen. No in-fight input required

## Key Tips

Pick a weight class that suits how you like to fight. If you prefer fast footwork and high-volume striking, lighter classes feel more natural. If you want to end fights with a single clean shot, the heavier divisions give you the power to do it, just don&#39;t burn your stamina chasing early finishes.

How Weight Classes Work in UFC 6
