Today we launched EA SPORTS™ Madden NFL 27 worldwide on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ 2, PC, mobile and, for the first time, Apple Arcade. With over 65 different types of Persona DNA, no two players behave the same way.
• Dynamic weather and evolving field conditions that influence strategy, stamina, ball security and team performance throughout every game. A sunny kickoff can become a third-quarter downpour before clearing again, while cold-weather teams perform differently than teams from warm climates.
• A deeper Superstar experience featuring the new G.O.A.T. Career Journey with College Football 27 Road to Glory integration, three new playable positions — tight end, edge rusher and free safety — and deeper position-based skill trees that unlock new career choices as the legacy score rises.
• Authentic NFL Physicality: All-new WR/DB battles bring true NFL physicality to every route,  with realistic hand-fighting, jostling and leverage at press, release and catch point, while timing-based catching puts contested outcomes directly in the player’s hands.
• Short Yardage Gameplay Introduces the Tush Push: Goal line stands, fourth-and-inches and short yardage moments have been completely rebuilt around a new QB Sneak Meter that ties outcomes to timing, ratings, leverage and the trench battle — and yes, the Tush Push is officially in the game.
• More Control Before the Snap: New custom pre-play adjustments allow players to preconfigure how their team aligns and reacts, while streamlined controls make every adjustment easier than ever and up to twice as fast. 
• Gameday Traditions: Improved presentation captures more of the traditions and spectacle that define the NFL, from Denver's parachuters to Jacksonville's zip-line entrance. New primetime intros, traditions and seasonal holiday broadcast packages bring the authentic NFL spectacle to life.
• Madden Ultimate Team™: New Evos transform and enhance players by increasing max OVR, unlocking new upgrade paths and even changing archetypes while the all-new Ultimate Captain allows users to carry one core player through the entire year, progressing and evolving from kickoff to the final whistle.

As EA SPORTS continues to expand Madden NFL across more platforms, players can now jump into Madden NFL 27 Mobile on iOS and Android or, for the first time ever, EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition. Designed specifically for Apple Arcade, Apple’s game subscription service that offers unlimited access to more than 200 games, players can dive into fan-favorite Franchise and Quick Play modes with seamless controller support across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition brings players closer to the action exactly how they want to play, wherever they are.

As part of EA SPORTS' commitment to giving football fans more access, more rewards and more football, EA SPORTS is partnering with NFL Sunday Ticket from YouTube and YouTube TV for the 2026 NFL season. MVP+ Members who purchased MVP+ between June 4 and July 2 can get NFL Sunday Ticket from YouTube and YouTube TV for $204.
