The Necromorph outbreak is stronger than ever, with two new multiplayer maps available for free on Dead Space 2 and two free survival modes on Dead Space for iOS. The brutal battle never ends.
Return to The Sprawl in the Dead Space 2: Outbreak Map Pack coming out on Xbox Live May 31st, and coming soon on the PlayStation Network. The goal – help the human team escape, or use the Necromorphs to stop them. The Academy takes place in an elementary school, forcing the human team to work together and activate the decontamination system. Concourse brings the Necromorph incursion to a mall, where the humans must evade capture and send a distress signal to a rescue ship outside.
For Dead Space on iOS, we’re releasing a slew of features, including two survival modes. In Endless, there’s no time limit, but you can only earn health by killing enemies and racking up big combos. In ‘5 Minutes to Kill’ your health regenerates, but you start with a five-minute countdown, with extra time awarded for killing enemies. In addition to these, we’re adding a Chapter Select feature, the punishing Nightmare difficulty level, and a new Heavy Pulse Rifle available for purchase.
