Six of the Top-18 Paid iPhone Games of All-Time are Published by EA
EA announced today that we are the #1 game publisher appearing on the App Store’s Top-25 Paid iPhone Apps of All-Time list, part of Apple's "Countdown to 50 Billion" promotion. Six EA games were featured on lists around the world: PopCap’s Plants vs. Zombies, SCRABBLE, MONOPOLY, The Sims 3, THE GAME OF LIFE Classic Edition and Cut the Rope.
"We strive to makes games that are fun, engaging and beloved by our fans,” said Bernard Kim, Senior Vice President of Mobile Publishing at EA. “Having more iPhone games on the All-Time Top-25 list is a testament to EA’s commitment to iPhone gaming.”
The list highlighted the popularity of mobile games on the App Store, as 18 of the Top-25 paid iPhone Apps in the US were games. Internationally, EA was also the top games publisher on the UK and Mexico lists of the Top-25 Paid iPhone Apps of All-Time, with six games on the UK list and four games on the Mexico list.
