FIFA 11 Ultimate Team | Weekly Update

All the latest news and updates for FIFA 11 Ultimate Team
FIFA 11 Team Of The Week | January 05

Welcome back everyone, we hope you enjoyed your holidays and of course played a lot of FUT. The holiday tournaments and deals hopefully filled up your coin purse and added some talented players to your squads. My personal favourite was the Bronze Player tournament; it was a lot of fun trying to dig up the best bronze players in the game to create a decent squad. What tournament did you like the best? Back to the business at hand, in this week’s update we’re going to talk about a very special team of the year as well as the usual FUT Podcast, the Team of the Week.

FUT Podcast

It's the first podcast of the new year and Paul Hossack and Christophe Labrune take us on another exciting journey through FUTland. If you just started playing FUT you'll want to listen to this as they drop hints for new players on how to get the best experience out of FUT. They also discuss the Team of the Week, the transfer window and the FIFPro World XI.

FIFPro WORLD XI

The start of the year is always an exciting time in FUT but more so this year as for the first time ever we will be releasing a special “World’s best 11” team to coincide with the FIFPro World XI. If you’re not familiar with it, FIFPro is the players association for all Fifa players (over 50,000) and they will each vote for the world’s best 11 for 2010. When the team is announced on Sunday, January 9th, you will be able to find these 11 players as special, in form, items in FUT. You will have to act fast as they will only be available for a couple of days.

Transfer Window

It’s January and the transfer window in Europe is open. With many players changing clubs and leagues, the FUT team will be busy updating the game with all these moves. If you are not familiar with the process, once a player has been updated, he will be available in new packs with his new team’s colours. If you happen to already own this player you will not see a change. To keep up to date on what players have been updated follow this thread in the FUT Forum.
