Titanfall Now Coming to Xbox 360 on April 8

Since its debut on March 11, Titanfall and its adrenaline-fueled gameplay on Xbox One and PC has taken the gaming world by storm.  I’ve spent many hours already dropping titans into the heat of battle and running along walls as a pilot, and I can tell you I am hooked.  Our partners at Respawn have made a truly awesome and dynamic new experience that I will be playing for a long time to come.

The fan content that has been created so far has also been incredible. From taking out multiple titans with a perfectly timed Nuclear Ejection to pulling off one of the most impressive satchel kills to date, the fun that Titanfall delivers is clearly captivating the community. Those are just a sample – there’s a ton of amazing content on the brand new TitanWall launched by Respawn. Check back often for some of the latest and most entertaining new content from fans around the world.

Now, I want to update everyone on Titanfall for Xbox 360 in development with Bluepoint Games.  I’ve been playing the game a lot, and it is fantastic.  But we see a few things that can be made even better, so we’re giving Bluepoint a little more time to do just that and deliver an epic Titanfall experience for Xbox 360 players. Titanfall for Xbox 360 will now be releasing on April 8 in North America, and beginning on April 11 in Europe.  The game will feature the same 6v6 gameplay, maps, modes, weapons and Burn Cards as the Xbox One and PC versions of the game.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we get the last details right.  See you on the Frontier.

While I appreciate the effort to try and get it right for us luddites who aren't yet able to acquire an Xbox One, I have to say the more I see and hear about this version the less comfortable I feel about buying it. Why is the information chain so clamped down on the 360 version? Why have we seen no gameplay footage, no screenshots, no specs? After the Battlefield 4 debacle, shouldn't you be more forthright about this version of the game?

Well seeing how long it's taking to fix is there really a point in buying it. I mean like if it needs fixed so much then it obviously isn't balanced or good which deters me from buying. perhaps if you were to release gameplay footage or even details about it EXCEPT FORM THE OBVIOUS ONES then people would be more excited and not just fed up

i have an xbox one and i bought it for titanfall (as well as not to fall behind technology wise lol). I'm sure the delays are frustrating many people not able to afford buying an xbox one and really want Titanfall. If EA is pushing the date back i'm sure then that the game will come out decent/good enough that there will be few issues, at least hopefully. I want my gaming bretherin to enjoy an amazing experience as i have. EA, please make it work, for gamers everywhere.

The news that the 360 release has been pushed back is disappointing. Having said that, I take great hope from the fact that Mr Soderlund says the gameplay maps etc. will be the same. However, you would not expect me to buy a car without having seen it and yet you seem to have the expectation that I invest in a game of which I have seen nothing. Can you see the absurdity of that proposition? Polish the game and work out the kinks by all means but please post some gameplay footage!

PATRICK SöDERLUND, Why don't you guys at EA tell the Truth, Microsoft and you are lying to us. No Game in History has given a release date and then one week before it comes out push it back. The Game would have shipped before that, you guys are deliberately holding it back so you can get people to purchase the xbox one period just tell the truth. Also No Footage of the 360 Version has been shown, Why? Answer the Question and Put out Footage now. THis just makes me want to switch to ps4.

I agree with tellmewhywhy. It is nothing more than a Microsoft and EA ploy to sell more xbox ones. The game would have been put to disc already. Just full of B.S. It is a big finger to anyone who has a 360.

The PC version aint that good. Played for 5 hours n had completed the campaign- cos even if you and your team mates fail you still progress to the next chapter!?? This also turns out just like any other multiplayer battle'r'- those with the biggest guns and lowest social life win! Pointless......£50 not well spent!!! AM NOT HAPPY EA!!!! BIG TIME !!!!!!

I'm looking super forward to this release actually. Even though the graphics will be a little bit less quality, it seems it will still be an exciting game. It's the same with BF4. I played it on a friend's Xbox One first, and I was hooked. I only have the Xbox 360 still, so I bought it for the 360. Regardless the quality of the visual is a little less, it's still an extremely fun game to play, and I found no lack in game play experience. I can't wait for this release!
