The 2026 NFL season kicks off with unprecedented hype. We begin with a rare Wednesday opener on September 9, as the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks host the New England Patriots. 

While this epic rematch sets the tone for the year, the 2026 season takes fans on a worldwide journey with a record nine international regular-season games scheduled across four continents. 

The international tour gets underway in Melbourne, Australia. On September 10, the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams take the field, marking the first regular-season NFL game played on Australian soil.

The next stop is in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. On September 27, it hosts its first regular-season NFL game, with the Dallas Cowboys taking on the Baltimore Ravens.

The tour shifts to London for a three-week run across two stadiums. On October 4, the Indianapolis Colts face the Washington Commanders. A week later, on October 11, the Philadelphia Eagles meet the Jacksonville Jaguars. It wraps up on October 18, with the Houston Texans challenging the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The journey then takes us to mainland Europe. On October 25, Saint-Denis, France, hosts its first regular-season NFL game, where the Pittsburgh Steelers face the New Orleans Saints. On November 8, in Madrid, Spain, the Cincinnati Bengals take on the Atlanta Falcons. The European tour closes in Munich, Germany, on November 15, when the New England Patriots take on the Detroit Lions.

The global journey comes full circle back in South America on November 22, as Mexico City hosts the Minnesota Vikings against the San Francisco 49ers.

In Madden NFL 27 Mobile, the NFL Kickoff event lets you set the tone for the entire season. From the moment you step onto the football field in Madden Mobile, the First Journey Map is unlocked and ready for action. Designed around the opening week of the NFL season, our challenges put your core football skills to the test, with a focus on passing, defense, and more.

As you clear them, you’ll also unlock tiered Achievements and earn NFL KickOff Tokens and Event Pass Points. Every completed challenge brings you closer to top-tier players.

The Second Journey Map will unlock in the second week, with a special guest lurking around Soldier Field… who could it be??

The NFL experience: Madden Mobile Version

The grind doesn't stop with the Journey Map. The Game Day Gauntlet Map connects your game directly to the real-life NFL games.

As NFL teams take the field each week, dedicated game events unlock in real time. Logging in on actual game days lets you participate in match-based challenges to earn Game Day Badges. Collect these badges and trade them for your favorite players.

New Season, New Point Attack

For players looking to build their roster, Point Attack returns with an upgrade in the NFL Kickoff event. This limited-time weekend event rotates its usual modes: Passing and Rushing. But this season, we’re also introducing the all-new Goal Frenzy mode.

In Goal Frenzy, the aim is to kick as many Field Goals as you can to progress through Milestones and get rewards. Kicking it between the Field Post scores a flat 50 points, but hitting as many Field Goals lets you maximize your score and fit in multiple runs per ticket.

As your high score improves, Milestone and leaderboard rewards increase, making Point Attack both a time‑efficient and competitive way to build your roster each weekend. 

Walk to the Field with a Star-Studded Lineup

At the heart of the Kickoff event are player drops. The Kickoff player pool introduces heavy hitters from both the AFC and NFC factions, starting at Epic OVR 101 and upgradable to a maximum of Mythic OVR 122.
