How to Audible, Hot Route, and Custom Stem Routes

Mastering audibles and hot route adjustments will give you the edge to outsmart your opponents. 

Changing Audibles

Press LT/L2 in the formation screen. 

1. Select the plays you want to replace with new plays.

Audibling Pre-Snap

1. Press X/▢ to display the audible menu and press the icon to the new play you want to run.
2. Switch formations with the exact personnel by pressing X/▢ then pressing the D-Pad left or right. 

Custom Stem Routes

Custom stemming allows you to change the depth of routes that have specific types of cuts. A popular example is a post route. 

To custom stem: 

1. Press Y/△ then select the player you want to custom stem.
2. Press and hold LB/L1 and move the left stick up to increase the depth or down to decrease the depth (Pro Tip: You can press the D-Pad up or down to change the depth in 5 yard increments).
