The team at Firemonkeys Studios shows you how to own the road in Real Racing 3. Just follow these seven dev-approved tips.

    1.     “If you think you’re up to the challenge, try enabling manual acceleration and disabling the driver assists. The racing will be tougher initially, but with better control of the car you’ll be able to take full advantage of the vehicle and the track.” Tom Baker (Senior Game Designer)

    2.     “Different cars are better suited to different tracks. Vehicles with high top-speeds love the lengthy straights of Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Monza, while the tight corners and complex layouts of Dubai and Suzuka are perfect for cars with short stopping distance and high lateral G’s.” – Tom Baker (Senior Game Designer)

    3.    “If you want to improve your lap times, try challenging the ghost of another racer in Time Trial mode. They can teach you a better racing line and smarter braking points.” – Tom Baker (Senior Game Designer)

    4.     “Upgrade your brakes first. Being able to slow down quickly is more useful than you might think.” – Lucas Regester (Lead Dev QA)

    5.     “Use ALL of the track (including the rumble strips) and try to be smooth when turning. Making the car skid only slows you down.” – Paul Wintrip (Data Analyst)

    6.     “Practice makes perfect. There will be some cars you can’t handle at first. Be patient and learn their strengths.” – Nina Nikolic (Player Engagement Manager)

    7.     “Turning off brake assist and enabling manual acceleration will allow you to carry more speed through corners. Lift off the throttle and don’t brake through the corner.” – Sam Kayler-Thomson (Community Support)
