Madden NFL 19 Showdown

When we last spoke with Madden NFL 18 Challenge champion, Drini “Drini” Gjoka, he had recently announced that he signed with Complexity Gaming, an esports organization acquired by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones in 2016. Complexity hinted then at a potential Madden NFL 19 showdown between Drini and some Cowboys players, and that idea came to fruition last week at the Dallas Cowboys training camp facility in Oxnard, CA.

Let’s get right to the point here. Drini absolutely demolished all nine Cowboys players he faced. He shut most of them out and allowed just a single touchdown spanning all nine matchups. I mean, really, are you shocked?

We put together some of the best tweets from Drini himself, the Dallas Cowboys’ players, and Complexity Gaming to recap the fun.

First, Drini planted the seed on twitter.

It’s only natural that Drini represents the Cowboys at this year’s Madden NFL 19 Club Championship. Now it’s official. Find out how you can compete in the Club Championship.

All right, let’s get down to business; it’s game time. Here’s Drini preparing to take on Cowboys nose tackle Antwuan Woods Sr.

Woods chimed in with some excitement. It’s obviously all smiles before the game starts.

And just like that, it was over for Woods as quickly as it began as Drini delivered a Madden 19 mashing for the ages.

Seems to me like Woods might be hedging on his Madden skills. He got roasted a little bit on Twitter and had to justify the blowout loss. Happens to the best of us.

During a break from the Madden action, Drini caught a glimpse superstar running back Ezekiel Elliott on the practice field. How many yards do you think Zeke will put up this season?

Safe to say, the Complexity gaming lounge was lit, and all the Cowboys players wanted a piece of Drini. How many players can you name?

A reality check for Drini. Life is good.

Even Cowboys starting quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliot swung by to check out Drini dominating their teammates on the sticks.

Cowboys linebacker Justin March-Lillard showed Drini some real love. Are Madden pros the next generation of NFL coaches? Time will tell.

Kavon Frazier, Cowboys DB, was the only Cowboys player out of the nine who played Drini to score a touchdown against him. Gotta take your wins where you can get ‘em.
