Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions
Stafford comes in with a cannon for an arm. With a 96 Throw Power, Stafford is one of a handful of QBs capable of exposing deep throws. You can also rocket some passes between defenders in the short game. His 75 Speed won’t rack up the rushing yards, but he can extend plays a bit, which makes him extremely effective on the move. His arm, Play Action, and Throw on the Run is a dominating combo. If you have a quality HB on your squad, this Stafford is exactly what you’ll need to spread the field and add some aerial explosion to your ground and pound.
