Pitch Notes: Title Update #12

Hi FIFA fans,

FIFA 20 Title Update #12 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

In this Pitch Notes, we’ll be taking a closer look at the change made to the Overload Ball Side D-Pad Tactic, as well as the addition of CONMEBOL competitions to FIFA 20.

OVERLOAD BALL SIDE & TEAM PRESS

We’ve been investigating community feedback on the Overload Ball Side D-Pad Tactic, and we’ve made the following change:

• Increased the impact of the Overload Ball Side D-Pad Tactic on in-game Stamina.

When playing with Overload Ball Side in effect, players will generally see their Stamina decay 2.4 times more than before. Note that Overload Ball Side is only in effect when your team is defending and does not have the ball.

This change does not affect Stamina when your team has the ball.

This screenshot was taken in Kick Off and is meant for demonstrative purposes, actual in-game effect can vary due to Attributes and in-game actions.

Note that we have also updated the Team Press D-Pad Tactic from 2.2 times Stamina decay to have the same impact on Stamina as Overload Ball Side.

CONMEBOL COMPETITIONS

Title Update #12 brings exciting CONMEBOL competitions, teams, stadiums, and presentation packages to FIFA 20. These competitions are available across multiple areas of the game.

The following match types are available in Kick Off and Kick Off Cup Final:

• CONMEBOL Libertadores
  • Exhibition
  • Group Stage
  • Semi-Final
  • Final
• CONMEBOL Sudamericana Final
• CONMEBOL Recopa

In Career Mode the following competitions have been integrated:

• CONMEBOL Libertadores
• CONMEBOL Recopa
• CONMEBOL Sudamericana
  

When playing Career Mode with a South American team, CONMEBOL competitions will come up naturally, just like existing tournaments and cups do.

Note that a new Career Mode save must be started in order to fully engage with the new CONMEBOL competitions.

The CONMEBOL Libertadores is also available as a standalone mode on the FIFA main menu, and players can customize the participating teams/groups before starting.
