This week’s NHL 13: American Hockey League Sim of the Week takes us to the BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford, Illinois. Tonight at 7:05pm CT, it's a contest to see who can avoid the Midwest Division basement as the Peoria Rivermen take on the Rockford Icehogs.

The Rockford Icehogs took the Peoria Rivermen to town, scoring three goals in the first period and adding one more late in the third to seal the deal. Two of Rockford's four goals came courtesy of Dylan Olsen, who makes a rare appearance on the score-sheet. Peoria did manage to avoid the shutout by scoring a consolation goal late in regulation.
Three Stars
First Star honors go to Dylan Olsen for his two goal, +2 night. Icehogs goaltender Carter Hutton takes Second Star with his 28 save performance. Peter Leblanc completes the Rockford sweep thanks to his one goal and assist output.
