Who would be the hero and the Villain?
FIFA 12 Pro Player Tournament | Aston Villa

Match day six in our special FIFA 12 Pro Player Challenge was the picturesque setting of Aston Villa’s training ground at Bodymoor Heath.

Word has been spreading around the Premier League as more and more club FIFA King’s have been revealed.  It’s all building up to the finale in December at The House Of Wayne where we’ll find out the ultimate FIFA 12 gamer.

But back to Aston Villa where we had a strong turnout of FIFA gamers, none more so than club hero Darren Bent who was joined by Charles N’Zogbia, Ciaran Clark and winner of a FIFA tournament in Hong Kong in pre season, Gary Gardner.

It was Gary Gardner with the wood over Bent on that occasion, would we see a repeat?  Check out the video below...

Game one pitted Gardner versus N’Zogbia – slightly unfair on Charles perhaps as Gardner swept him aside 3-0 in an easy victory and passage to the final.

Would Darren Bent win through for a rematch of the Hong Kong tournament?

Charles N'Zobgia thought so saying, "He says in the dressing room that he's the best, so I'm going to bet on him".

Indeed Bent did make it to the final but he was made to earn it as Ciaran Clark pushed him all the way to the 120th minute of extra time when Bent (playing as Man Utd) latched on to a Berbatov special to claim a literally last minute winner.

Darren said , "I think FIFA 12 is the best football game ever to be honest, the graphics are unbelieveable and it seems to get better and better".

On to the final and Bent made a switch of tactics, changing his team to Real Madrid to play Gardner’s Bayern Munich.  It was a tight game 0-0 at half time and as Clark watched on and Bent tried to get revenge for Hong Kong, Gardner finally got the breakthrough in the 73rd minute with a Thomas Mueller strike crowning Gardner FIFA King of Aston Villa for the second time.

"I'm sure Gazza will be telling everyone", said Bent.

“Gary’s a worthy winner, he’d beat most people at the training ground."

Gary Gardner was really pleased with his game afterwards saying, “It's good to be the winner of everything and I'm happy.

"I might put the trophy on Darren's locker!"

Congratulations to all players in particular to Gary Gardner who makes it through to the House of Wayne final in December.
