Learn more about real-world military equipment in this new series!

There are many shooters available that claim to be “authentic” or “realistic” when portraying the action from a battlefield in a video game, but unless you’re a combat veteran, how can you know for sure? It’s a question we’ve asked ourselves more than once, and we’ve often wondered the whys and hows of this, but we’re not left with concrete answers.

Luckily, the folks at GameTrailers.com had the same questions lingering amongst themselves, and they’ve brought in their military consultants from Saber Ops to get some answers in their new video series Combat Facts. This series gives the general public a look at the workings of games, the military equipment represented digitally in various titles, and what their real-world counterparts are capable of.

If you’ve ever wondered how your favorite games stack up when compared to the real world, GameTrailer’s Combat Facts series will be right up your alley. Enjoy this very first episode of Combat Facts, which covers the various scopes found in some of your favorite games. Enjoy!
