EA SPORTS Predicts: MLS Cup Final 2011

On paper it's a cake walk.
LA Galaxy have had a storming season. Led brilliantly by their twinkling trio of stars - David Beckham, Landon Donovan and Robbie Kean - the Galaxy have secured the Supporters Shield already and come into the MLS Cup 2011 final with the most resilient defensive line in the league. And they'll be playing on home ground, too.
Opposing them are Houston Dynamo, a team few would have predicted winning a place at the Cup's glittering showdown. They won just twice on the road all season, and come into the final a very important man down in the form of Brad Davis. Star midfielder, 2011 MVP frontrunner and owner of the shoulders that carried the team to the final, Davis tore a muscle in the Eastern Conference final and will have to watch the drama from the sidelines.
But if there's one thing we know about cup competitions, it's is that anything can happen on the day. Walking cakes excepted.
