High-flying, over-the-top football action will soon rumble through your living room as EA SPORTS is just weeks away from releasing NFL Blitz, a modern day version of the all-time classic game from yesteryear. Featuring 7-on-7 gameplay, two minute quarters, no penalties, and, of course, players ON FIRE!, NFL Blitz promises to deliver fun and exciting arcade-style NFL football for everyone.
As the developers make their final drive for the end zone, EA SPORTS called a timeout and sat down with producers Dave Ross and Yuri Bialoskursky during the 2011 Winter Preview in San Francisco. Hear what both had to say about their experiences making the first-ever HD digital download version of the legendary arcade game.
In addition to the insights from Ross and Bialoskursky, Tim Kitzrow, the voice of NFL Blitz, also crashes the media day scene with some camera time of his own. Talking with EA SPORTS, Mr. Boomshakalaka himself tells us what it’s like to call some of the hottest action to ever hit the gridiron, and sheds some light on the next set of catch phrases featured in the upcoming game.
