How to Unlock Weapons in Battlefield V

LevelCap takes you through the basics of unlocking new weapons in this Battlefield™ V video.

When you first enter the battlefield you’ll have one primary weapon available for each Class, but by playing, earning XP, and gaining rank, other weapons will become available. You’ll be able to unlock your first new weapon at rank five by going to the Armory tab on the main menu, where you’ll find your reward icons.

Does new always mean better? Not necessarily. The starter weapons for each Class are quite powerful in their own right, and thanks to weapon specialization, can be refined to really suit your individual playstyle.
