Jack Rourke enters The Run, an underground race from San Francisco to New York City, with one thing on his mind: getting to the finish line first. But that doesn't mean he can't get there in style. Need for Speed The Run has teamed up with adidas to make sure both you and Jack can race for your life in a sweet set of kicks and apparel.

While on the run, Jack sports a pair of adidas Superstars, the iconic shoe with the classic three stripes that has been around for over 40 years. But adidas' partnership with Need for Speed The Run doesn't end there; limited edition branded apparel will be available at all adidas Originals stores in the US. Additional promotions will be held in three of the game's most iconic locations, too. On October 12th the adidas Originals flagship store in Chicago will be hosting a special event headlined by DJ Neil Armstrong and Kids These Days. Attendees will have the first opportunity to purchase the limited edition adidas Original Need for Speed Top X shoe, in addition to getting an early taste of Need for Speed The Run. The event will then move to San Francisco on October 27th, and end in New York City on November 15th.
