Shank is Back: Announcing Shank 2

Shank, the former mob hitman with an unyielding thirst for revenge, thought he would be able to lay down his blades after systematically eliminating the criminal conspirators who betrayed him. How wrong he was. Klei Entertainment and EA Partners announced today the return of Shank in the downloadable sequel, Shank 2, available on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC in early 2012.
In Shank 2, the violent anti-hero is thrust back into action when the lives of his loved ones are endangered. Grabbing his signature weapons, Shank is prepared to slice, shoot, and rip through anyone who dares stand in his way. The fluid brawling controls and comic-inspired look that earned the first title critical acclaim make a return in Shank 2, raising the bar for 2D side-scrollers. Players will have plenty of new features to look forward to, including an intense arcade-style survival co-op mode.
