EA Mobile™ has aired its first-ever TV spot to give a peek into the competitive world that is World Series of Poker. EA Mobile™ worked closely with Caesar’s to capture the essence of “the most authentic poker game on the App Store,” and the commercial will be airing exclusively on ESPN through November.
Featuring legendary Phil "The Poker Brat" Hellmuth (12-time winner of the coveted WSOP bracelet) and driven by The Heavy's tune “What Makes a Good Man?” (the first single from the international hitmakers’ upcoming album “The Glorious Dead”), the spot marks the first time EA has gone “all-in” to promote a mobile game in a stand-alone television commercial.
This rapid-fire, 30-second, live-action broadcast commercial for the World Series of Poker mobile game highlights the casual connectivity and competition that every WSOP player can enjoy on iPhone & iPad, as well as Android.
The commercial premiered on August 14, 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, during the broadcast of the 2012 World Series of Poker on ESPN, and will continue to run until November during ESPN’s primetime WSOP coverage.
