WEEK OF JAN. 22
KEVIN DURANT, OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER F
Durant has taken his game to another level in the absence of point guard Russell Westbrook. He's scored 30+ points in a whopping eight straight games, including a career high 54 against the Warriors last Friday. Durant is responsible for the four highest scoring outputs in the NBA this season, and they've all come in the last 18 days.
KENDALL MARSHALL, LOS ANGELES LAKERS G
It's been tough sledding for the Lakers this season, thanks in large part to an ever-growing injury list. But Marshall has been one of the bright spots, averaging 13 points and 12 assists per game since being called up from the D-League. He has three games with 15+ assists, something only two other Lakers (Magic Johnson and Nick Van Exel) have done before.
