DWIGHT HOWARD, HOUSTON ROCKETS C
This week's spotlights were chosen based on the two best single-game performances of the season to date. Howard shined in his Rockets debut, scoring 17 points and tying his career with 26 rebounds. The crown jewel of the 2013 free agency class, Howard is averaging nearly 18 points and 13 rebounds per game.
KEVIN LOVE, MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES F
Love posted an eye-opening stat line in the Timberwolves overtime loss to the Clippers, scoring 45 points to go with 19 rebounds and six assists, the first such stat line since Hakeem Olajuwon did it in 1996. To date, Love is averaging more than 26 points and 13 boards per contest.
