Each week, EA SPORTS will highlight the NBA’s top performers, determined by their stats and performances in the week prior, as well as NBA Legends and Alumni and other items available in LIVE Ultimate Team.
WEEK OF MARCH 5
TREVOR ARIZA, WASHINGTON WIZARDS F
This week's Spotlight players were selected for their strong offensive performances last week. Ariza poured in a career-high 40 points in a win at Philadelphia, hitting eight three-pointers in the process. At 31-29, the Wizards are looking like a good bet to make the postseason for the first time since 2008.
JAMES HARDEN, HOUSTON ROCKETS G
The Rockets have surged to the 3-seed in the Western Conference after winning eight of their last 10. Harden scored 43 points in a win at Sacramento despite playing just 31 minutes and sitting out the entire fourth quarter. The former Arizona State standout joins Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler as the only Rockets in the last 25 years to register at least 40 points, eight assists, and three steals.
