Update on Viewership Rewards for FIFA 21 Global Series

Hi FGS Fans,
We were astounded by the community excitement for the new FIFA 21 Viewership Rewards introduced during the FIFA 21 Challenge last month. With more opportunities to earn FGS Player Tokens just around the corner, we want to announce an important improvement to the viewership rewards program.
As a reminder, last month we announced that viewers who tune in for at least 60 minutes of an eligible event will earn a guaranteed FGS Player Token that can be redeemed for Untradeable Pack Rewards in FUT 21.
Today, we are happy to announce that on five weekends during the FGS Swaps 1 season, viewers will be able to tune in to multiple eligible events in order to earn one FGS Player Token. To be clear, viewers will only be able to earn one token per weekend; however, they will now have the opportunity to earn the reward by watching any of the eligible events on the designated weekends. This will give our viewers more flexibility to watch the events of their choice without missing out on the FGS Player Token.
The first eligible weekend will take place on December 5th and 6th, when viewers can tune in live for the West Asia Regional Qualifier 1 or the South America Regional Qualifier 1 on twitch.tv/easportsfifa.
We are also excited to announce that all of our South America regional broadcasts will be available in Spanish at https://www.twitch.tv/easportsfifalatam and Brazilian Portuguese at https://www.twitch.tv/easportsfifabrasil. These broadcasts will also be eligible for the FGS Player Token reward for that weekend.
Watching a total of 60 minutes of either event in any of the three available languages, or a combination of all of them, will earn you one FGS Player Token.
Simply put:
- Link your Twitch and EA accounts on ea.com/twitchlinking. Age restrictions apply. See https://www.twitch.tv/p/legal/terms-of-service/ for details.
- Watch 60 minutes of eligible FIFA 21 Global Series Event or Events when there are multiple on a single weekend on the official channels designated below.
- Receive one FGS Player Token Item in-game
- Tune in to more eligible events on different weekends to earn more FGS Player Token items. You can earn only one FGS Player Token Item per weekend with eligible events.
- Redeem your FGS Player Token items in-game for Untradeable Pack Rewards.

How many FGS Swap releases will there be?
There will be 2 FGS Swaps released throughout the year.
How many FGS player tokens will you release?
There will be 10 Player Tokens that can be earned in the first FGS Swaps release. Details on FGS Swaps 2 will be released later in the year.
How long do I need to watch to earn an FGS Player Token?
Viewers will earn an FGS Player Token for tuning into at least 60 minutes of an eligible FIFA 21 Global Series event(s).
If there are two different tournaments in a weekend that are eligible, do I need to watch both to earn a FGS Player Token
No, you do not need to watch both. As long as you watch at least 60 combined total minutes of any of the eligible events that weekend, you are eligible for one FGS Player Token.
Can I earn multiple tokens in a single weekend if there are multiple eligible events?
Viewers can only earn a single token during a weekend when there are multiple eligible events. Watching 60 minutes of either event or a combination of both will earn you one FGS Player Token.
If there are two different tournaments on a weekend that are eligible for rewards, and I watch 30 minutes of each of them, will I be eligible to earn a token? What about the Spanish and Portuguese broadcasts for South America?
Yes, watching at least 60 minutes total across the weekend, no matter what event or language broadcast, will mean you are eligible for a guaranteed FGS Player Token.
If I link my EA and Twitch accounts and I watch for at least 60 minutes, will I get the token? Or will you give them only to select viewers?
If you link your EA and Twitch accounts and you watch for at least 60 minutes of an eligible event(s), you are guaranteed to receive an FGS Swaps Player Token.

I linked my accounts in the past. Do I need to do it again?
No. If you have linked your EA and Twitch accounts in the past, you do not need to do it again.
How many FGS Swaps Player Tokens can I earn per event?
Only one FGS Player Token is available to each viewer during each eligible event. If there are multiple eligible events on a single weekend, you can only earn one FGS Player Token.

The eligible events that you can watch to earn an FGS Player Token for FGS Swaps 1 are*:

Where can I redeem my FGS Player Swap Tokens?
Pack Rewards are available via Repeatable Squad Building Challenges (SBC) in FUT 21 starting October 26th, 2020.
How does the FGS Player Token redemption work?
Similar to other Swaps programs in FUT, you will need to choose which pack rewards you want to unlock based on how many Player Tokens you have earned and saved.
What will be the FGS Player Token rewards?
The Repeatable Pack Rewards & Player Token Requirements for FGS Swaps 1 are:

When will my FGS Player Token be awarded in my account?
It can take up to 7 days after the event conclusion for your token to be awarded in your account.
Can I save my release 1 FGS Player Tokens and redeem them during release 2?
No. Each Player Token can only be redeemed in that specific FGS Swaps release. FGS Player Tokens do not roll over to the next FGS Swaps release. The FGS Swaps 1 Squad Building Challenges will expire on May 21, 2021.
Are the Rewards SBCs repeatable?
Yes. The first FGS swaps release will contain four repeatable Untradeable Pack Reward SBCs
