The Sims 4 Island Living is Now on Console

Sulani awaits you!

Dearest Simmers, oftentimes when we discuss new packs and other exciting things of that nature, we highlight all the cool things your Sims can do. They can do this, they can do that. Etcetera, etcetera. So, this time, with the uber-chill release of The Sims™ 4 Island Living on console, almost begging your Sim to not do much of anything, we’re going in another direction. The following is a list of what your Sims definitely don’t want to do in The Sims 4 Island Living. Oh, and take this quiz to find out your island style!

Don’t get sunburned.

We humans need lots of sun protection, and in Sulani, your Sims do, too. When sunbathing, apply sunblock and beachcomb without a care in the world. If you don’t, your Sim will be in for a sizzling surprise.

Don’t sleep in – if you want to be a fisherman.

This fresh career – not to be confused with fresh water – will have your Sim waking up at the crack of dawn! Get used to early bedtimes if they want to boost their career skills. But, on the bright side, their afternoons will be free for swim time.

Don’t go diving without the proper gear.

In order to get the most out of scuba diving, your Sim will need some supplies. So, whether that means saving up coin to buy what they need or smashing that “motherlode” button, this is where to start. Look for the red and white striped buoy to get your Sim going.

Don’t ignore that dolphin when your Sim is out for a swim.

That sea-loving mammal could be your Sim’s new best friend! Summon, pet, talk to, and even request a trick from their fin-tastic buddy.

Don’t forget to customize an Aqua Zip.

If you buy an Aqua Zip for your Sim, there are many ways to upgrade it for their next watery adventure. Flame Vents, Fireworks, and even polka dots are all available to get creative and customize

Don’t choose a rainbow-patterned mermaid tail.

Unless your Sim wants to be gorgeous!!! There are several tail colorways to choose from when creating your sea-loving friend, and each has its own desirable qualities.

Don’t sing that lullaby, unless your Sim wants to WooHoo.

There are several lullabies a mermaid can sing to a specific Sim. A more romantic mermaid will like the Charmer’s Lullaby, which gives a Flirty moodlet and can result in Sims exchanging numbers. What? You think mermaids can’t have phones?

Don’t snorkel if you’re a mermaid.

The first rule of snorkeling when you’re a mermaid: Don’t talk about snorkeling when you’re a mermaid.

Dive right into The Sims 4 Island Living, now available on PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One! Oh, one more thing: We’ve just released the Island Living soundtrack on Amazon Alexa! Just say, "Alexa, play new music from The Sims." Have fun and don’t forget your sunblock!
