Tough, tender, and the Commander of an interstellar starship? It’s hard to imagine a better Valentine’s Day date than Shepard. And with today’s release of the new Mass Effect 3 demo, you don’t have to.
Download the single-player demo for the Xbox 360, PC, or PlayStation 3 and join the fight for planet Earth. This preview of the full campaign lets you choose your name, gender, and appearance, as well as your preferred style of play. “Action” lets you focus on killing some Reapers, “Story” gives you more space to socialize, and “Action RPG” blends the two in classic Mass Effect style.
Also included in the demo is a taste of the new multi-player mode, which focuses on strategic, co-operative gameplay. Get early access to this section of the demo by activating your Battlefield 3 Online Pass or signing up for the Mass Effect 3 Recruitment Program on Facebook. Multi-player mode will unlock for everyone on February 17.
Fans of Mass Effect can also look forward to a new CG trailer for the upcoming title called "Take Earth Back," which will premiere during this Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead on AMC.
